What is faux fur made of?

Our faux fur is made of 100% Acrylic or Modacrylic.

Acrylic allows for a more realistic fur look and texture, is a better insulator of heat than alternatives, and is generally considered to be the most luxurious material to use for creating faux fur fibres.

Does faux fur shed like the real thing?

Our Faux fur throws do not shed, no.

What about allergies?

All our products are 100% artificial, so any allergies to real animal fur shouldn’t be a problem.

However, we cannot guarantee that our products are 100% allergy free (in theory a very tiny minority may be allergic to Acrlyic or other materials used in production)

Are your faux fur throws flame retardant?

Unfortunately, like many fabrics, our faux fur throws are not fire retardant.

They should be kept well away from naked flames, candles and fireplaces.

Why faux fur and not the real stuff?

Our faux fur throws are of a superb quality and almost identical to the real thing. We don’t use real animal fur, because we don’t agree with animal cruelty. With faux fur, you get a fur that is just as fashionable, cosy and luxurious as the real thing.

What’s more, the world’s wolves, bears and foxes get to keep their coats too.

Are your throws washable?

Yes! Our throws can be hand washed, or machine washed at 30. Avoid tumble drying.

What courier do you use for deliveries?

We use Royal Mail, Hermes or the Amazon delivery network to send your order.

I haven’t received a dispatch email/email confirmation?

Please be aware an automated email is sent to you at the given email address when your order is dispatched. You can also track your order.

If you haven’t received anything within 48 hours (please check all folders including your junk), simply email us at [email protected] with your order details, and we will be there to assist you in no time.

Can I collect from a local store?

We don’t offer a reserve and collect service currently. Our purchases are online only and delivered to your chosen address.

I live outside the EU. Will I have to pay customs and import duty?

Customs and import duties may be charged once the parcel reaches a destination country – these charges must be paid by the recipient of the parcel.

Unfortunately, we have no control over these charges, and cannot tell you what the cost might be, as customs policies and import duties vary widely from country to country.

It might be a good idea to contact your local customs office for current charges before you order, so you are not surprised by charges you were not expecting.

The customer must take full liability for any parcels returned to us due to unpaid customs charges. Postal charges, return shipment costs, customs charges and handling fees will all be deductible from any refund due.

Is ordering online safe?

Yes, absolutely. Our website uses a secure connection (SSL encryption technology) and our payment gateways are provided by Stripe and Paypal, two of the the leading secure payment solutions.

Any personal information we hold is securely held and will not be passed to third parties at all under any circumstances except where it is necessary to fulfill your order or to confirm your identity.

How do I order my new faux fur throw?

Seen something you like?

Simply click the little basket on each product to add to your shopping cart. You can always click on the product for more information, such as size and material.

When you’re ready, simply click on the little basket icon in the upper-right corner of the site to review your order. Hit ‘Checkout’ at the bottom of your basket to be taken to our secure Checkout page. You’ll be asked to enter your name, payment details and delivery address. Once that’s all in, hit confirm. As soon as we receive your order we’ll get to work packing and dispatching.

You should receive an automated email confirming your order, and shortly after an email notifying you of delivery. Most of our deliveries are sent via Royal Mail, and you can use our automated system to track your order.

Is it possible to change the address/cancel or amend my order?

Due to the high volume of orders we receive, we have an automatic invoicing system. For any changes to your order, please email us immediately at [email protected]

We can attempt to stop or amend your order with our dispatch team. If it is not possible, we will advise you on the next steps.

How do I return an item?

Our throws are of the highest quality, but if you decide upon receipt that it’s just not what you were expecting – that’s fine too!

Returns must be in the state you received them, and in the original packaging. We will then arrange a full refund.

How long will it be before I get a refund?

Once we receive your item(s) back, our returns department will inspect the goods. Pending these checks, an automated refund is generated on our system and then processed back to your original payment method.

This process typically takes 5-7 working days.
